find out what the cruising life is all about, and if it’s for you,

ON YOUR OWN BOAT© COURSES
Learning on your own boat makes such good sense! This is the
boat you’ll be using, cruising on and spending time aboard. Call
us to schedule your own course on your own boat in your own home
port!
TEACHING DELIVERIES
Another branch of the renowned On Your Own Boat courses,
teaching deliveries bring a new level of learning on your boat.
Perhaps you’ve purchased a new boat and need to bring it home. The
waters you’ll be traveling through may be unfamiliar, and having a
SEA SENSE Captain aboard takes the pressure off and lets you learn
as you go. You will gain experience in navigating through new
areas, learning about tides and currents,
trip planning, fuel management, preventive maintenance and much,
much more, all with the supportive guidance of your licensed SEA
SENSE instructor.
TRAWLERFESTS AND PASSAGEMAKER UNIVERSITY
Trawlerfest events take place throughout the year at various
locations, combining a boat show that is strictly trawler with
educational seminars on many subjects pertinent to cruising –
including several for women by SEA SENSE. Join in “Trawler Crawls”
on privately owned boats that attend, great socializing and
networking with industry experts and fellow trawler lovers. SEA
SENSE frequently offers on-board classes for women at Passagemaker
University, two days of “college level” courses on selected
subjects that precede most of the events.
